Bridget Lynette Morrow (born March 11, 1962 in St.Louis, Missouri) is an American author and poet, most famous for her work in the horror genre. Her horror fiction has received literary honors. Her first novel "Master", won the Los Angeles Black Book Expo Award for fiction. She followed that novel with the sequel to "Master" entitled "Alex".

Bridget read voraciously from an early age, frequently receiving books from her local library and book mobile (books delivered in small vans to children's homes where they could be signed out as if the child had gone to the library). Her literary interests pleased her parents and she was encouraged in her artistic pursuits. She was emboldened by her mother Anita who promoted dance, piano, theater and modeling. Her parents regarded education as an important element in life. Bridget attended the University of Missouri St. Louis where she studied general subjects before setting her sights on a nursing career. She became a Registered Nurse in 1984 and returned to college where she received a Baccalaureate's degree in Humanities with an emphasis in English Literature at Columbia College in St. Ann, Missouri.

Bridget began writing poems, flash fiction, short stories, novellas, magazine articles and works of fiction and was published in all arenas. Her preference soon became horror and the supernatural, with some of her favorite authors being: Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Tananarive Due, Francesca Miller, L.A. Banks, Edgar Allan Poe, Dina Dashiell, Peter Straub and Dean Koontz.
Bridget also attends Pacifica Graduate Institute where she is receiving her graduate degree in the study of Mythology and In Depth Psychology. She is also President and founder of No Idea Publishing. She currently has several blogs she contributes to weekly.
