At the farm itself they grow, and therefore sell: asparagus, rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, sweet corn, cucumbers, dill weed, tomatoes, zucchini, watermelon, cabbage, fall raspberries, apples, and pumpkins. Pingle’s farm bakery has become famous for their homemade butter tarts, while also offering frozen yogurt, fresh fudge, fresh pies, pound cakes, meat pies, sausage rolls, and much more.[3]

As well as offering a wide variety of flowers, Pingle’s provides knowledgeable staff that can do custom planting in planters that customers bring with them.

This tool is used throughout many farms to ensure customers know the when the fruit they are receiving is at its best. [5]

In return, the radio stations are mentioned in relation to the big events held at Pingle’s farm. These radio stations associated with Pingle’s are KX96, CKDO, and 94.9 the ROCK. Farm Property Tax Guide

edit

Pingle’s farm is part of the Farm Property Tax Rate Program meaning that it is classed as a farm and is only taxed 25% of the municipal residential tax rate. Eligibility for this tax break is determined by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). Tax exemptions such as these allow for farms to make a higher profit without paying high residential taxes. Pingle’s is eligible for this tax break because the property is used as a farming operation generating Gross Farm Income (GFI) of at least $7,000. [7]
