Constantin Schreiber edit

Constantin Schreiber ( born 14 June 1979 ) is the Dubai-based correspondent of DW-TV Arabia, the Arabic language service of Deutsche Welle, Germany's international broadcaster. He is often reporting from war zones in the Middle East and Africa.

Constantin Schreiber holds a law degree and is fluent in Arabic and Spanish in addition to his native German and English. He was a fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University.

Constantin Schreiber was one of a few western journalists reporting from Somalia after the invasion by Ethiopian troops in late 2006. He also reported from Sudan, Chad, Mauritania, the Comoros and Libya.

Constantin Schreiber's special interest is in the human trafficking and displacement that results from many of the region's conflicts.

Prior to moving to Dubai he worked for Radio Voice of Vietnam in Hanoi and The Daily Star in Lebanon.
