Tripswitch is the name used by UK-based electronic music producer Nick Brennan. Though he has worked in a variety of genres, Tripswitch is most strongly associated with down-tempo electronic music with psychedelic and ethnic influences. His first studio album, Circuit Breaker, was produced in the Dragonfly Records sub-label then known as Liquid Sound Design.

Tripswitch has received critical acclaim in the electronic music press and was included in a playlist entitled 'Global Beats With a Sanskrit Prayer or a British Flair ' compiled for the New York Times in March 2006 by Anoushka Shankar.

Circuit Breaker was re-released by Liquid Sound Design in 2007 as a double-cd of both the original Circuit Breaker album and a remix album with contributions fromm Martin Glover (Youth), Gaudi, Kuba and other names associated with Dragonfly Records.

Tripswitch's second studio album, Geometry, was released in 2010 and was used to launch a new record label, Section Records, managed by Brennan himself.
