Murry Bergtraum High School, at Brooklyn Bridge, is a New York City Public High School located next to City Hall at 411 Pearl Street. It is comprised of over 3000 students and is ranked as a "School Of Excellence" by U.S. News and World Report. Well known for its Women's Basketball program, it also has a program that focuses on Business and one labeled "Collegiate" which takes in students from the surrounding neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. It traditionally places among the top ten best high schools in the city, after specialized high school Brooklyn Tech.
School sports include basketball, track, badminton and baseball.
