I shall now attempt to "edit this page", so if this is all awful then I apologise. I'm from the UK, have finally decided to sign-up to Wikipedia after browsing around the website for months and months.
I'm a bit of an amateur historian, and have been so for many years now. Mainly military history, my areas of interest being:
• The British and Canadian armies in NW-Europe 1944-45 • The Battle of Normandy • The Royal Navy (different eras mind you) • Bomber Command • The Battle of Britain • The Falklands War • The Western Front
And anymore that I've temporarily forgotten. I'm trying to expand my knowledge of early British history too, though don't know where to start half the time. Have also been studying the Apollo program and the Moonlandings since an early age.
Currently recovering from surgery, so have a lot of spare time on my hands and like to fill my head with new knowledge.
