· Just skimming a couple chapters this one is mostly about the main K'iche' city of Utatlan aka Guatemala. Has a list of K'iche' rulers in order of reign. Comes from the conquistadors so maybe biased. Bmdv23 (talk) 00:29, 13 October 2017 (UTC)

Preamble and The Primordial World
• It’s very nice to see the literal and modern translations however the boldness of some words in the beginning of the Preamble is a little confusing. Not sure if you added that but it could possibly be something you could look into changing a little.
• Grammar and spelling look great so far
• Your quotes look good as well as citing them and using references correctly
Part 1,2,3,4
• So as far as I can tell the ideas and framework are there that will lead to good information.
• You just need to expand on your ideas and put them into article form
• Don’t forget to add your sources for part 3 and part 4
New sources • I am adding to the K’iche’ article so I have some sources that may be beneficial to you guys as well
o This book has some information of Popol Vuh in the second chapter
Utatlan
editThe major city of the K'iche' in the western highlands of Guatemala was Utatlan. It was the political, ceremonial and social center of the K'iche' people. Though many of the Spanish conquistadors records do not depict it as a great and powerful place it was very much so to the native K'iche' who lived there. The city covered an estimated area of 3.25 km2 across the Resguardo plateau.

== Peer Review by Bmdv23 (talk) 16:11, 20 October 2017 (UTC) == So far looks very interesting and full of good information. I read through the parts you plan to add so far and didn't catch any spelling or grammar errors. Not saying that I the best at that so it's always good to go back and check for simple mistakes. You have a lot of information so far just make sure you are keeping up on your references. part 1,2, and 3 don't have any in them yet so just make sure you don't lose track of where you are getting your information from. That's the best tip I can give, that way you don't have to go back and scramble to find your references and sources later. Bmdv23 (talk) 23:25, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
The Spanish conquerors described towns such as Q'umarkaj (also know as Utatlán), the capital of K'iche'.[1] They bordered the Kaqchikel.
