If you suspect that another sock has shown up, please go to Sergecross73's talkpage and report it there, so that the situation can be assessed and the sock blocked if it is indeed him. Behavior edit

I'll only say that the following are very common behavior patterns that have not changed since he started socking:

  • Overly promotional tone towards Sega - this is the overarching theme for his editing.
  • Inclination to make wholesale changes to an article's formatting, usually to a worse-looking result that includes articlespace nowiki, bad wikicode syntax for italics and other formatting errors
  • Almost exclusive use of VisualEditor
  • Poor use of primary sources, particularly Sega's internal sales reports and non-RS blogs
  • Poor grammar and spelling (he has mentioned that his first language isn't English)
  • Making changes he fought for many times before being blocked (removing a specific statement about mobile games in the Sega article, removing game title italics, etc)

Topic area edit

Tripple's edits are, almost in their entirety, to do with Sega-- the Sega article itself, Sega development studios, franchise list articles, Sega arcade games, company employees etc. However, it has become apparent that he will also edit articles that have only a tangential connection to Sega. Many of these have since been temporarily semiprotected due to his persistent block evasion. If I miss anything he's edited in this list, feel free to add to it.
