Roll of the Galaxy
Roll for the Galaxy is a board game that was primarily developed by Wei-Hwa Huang, and assisted by Thomas Lehmann(who developed Race for the Galaxy) and is an adaptation of the card/board game Race for the Galaxy. Experience of the original game is not required for new players at all and is completely self-contained. In this board game the workers are represented by custom six-sided dice, where each side defines which phase the worker is assigned to.
Its theme is to build galactic civilizations via game tiles that represent worlds or technical and social developments. It accommodates two to five players and is estimated to take about 45 minutes. With new players the first game will take between 2-3 hours. This game, like the original game, uses iconography to break most language barriers, although the iconography is often complemented with descriptions.
