Group work can go smoothly or it can fail. When it goes smoothly it is because everyone in the group does their part and contributes what they need to. Communication is a big and important part when working with a group, especially if you are not with each other everyday to be able to communicate in person. Everyone needs to be able to communicate there opinions openly, so everyone's opinion is taken into consideration. When group work doesn't work out it is because there are members in the group who don't contribute. Then this adds more work for the rest of the group because they have to pick up for their slack. I personally like group work and I do think it is something that is beneficial to students. The only fear I have about group work is making sure all the requirements are met correctly and that the overall project goes smoothly. The best thing about group work is that there are other members in the group who can help you out or help explain something to you when you are lost. Overall, for group work to go successfully communication is a big part as well as everyone contributing and doing there part. Group work goes smoothly when done correctly.
