Been using Wikipedia ever since I discovered it around 2004, but never got around to editing anything - much due to not having much competence on anything worth editing - until 2015. Many nights since that have been spent like this, and it seems that now I'm editing too that's not likely to stop anytime soon.

I write about edit

So far, not all that much - but joining the task force of the Wikipedia Motorsports project would fit me nicely - I've been following Formula One since early childhood, but now getting more into other formula/single-seater series as well. Other than that, I have done a fair bit of reading and work in cocktails and cocktail history, and I study mathematics (still on an early stage). I'm a fluent English and Norwegian speaker, proficient in conversational German (and then some when it comes to reading), with basic knowledge of French, Spanish, Turkish. I can order a drink and/or swear in a few more, but that's about it. Also, I code; have formal competence in Python (working on Java), including applications to natural sciences and object orientation. A year from now, intimate knowledge of C, computer architecture (soft- and hardware), operating systems may or may not be tacked onto the list of formal competence. Informal; HTML/CSS, Boo, Unity. Interested in cryptography, sports, pop-science, all things alcohol, many things food, travel - and the history of all these things.

My contribs edit

As of Feb 22, 2015: 2 articles, of which 0 have been from scratch - but that's a number that will be sure to rise quite soon. If I find the time, that is.

Dedication edit

All my work is dedicated to the memory of my father, without which my fascination with the bounds of human knowledge would not have been what it is today.
