About Me, I suppose edit
Well, to start, my name's Lauren. I'm currently a student, but I aspire to become a neurosurgeon. My passion lies in biology, chemistry, history, English, the humanities in general, politics, and journalism. English is my native tongue, but I'm pursuing French, and have taken about five years worth of it (although I'm not sure how much can be said of my high school education). I'm a huge grammar nerd. I love to write.
As far as politics go, I consider myself a moderate liberal, if that makes any sense. Born and raised in a nice Jewish home, I now consider myself an atheist for various and sundry a reason. I am of the fervent belief that nothing's worth doing if you can't put your whole heart into it. I suppose I "go to extremes." I'm a little bit maniacal, a little bit hilarious, a little bit interesting, a little bit depressed, and a little bit arrogant. I guess, all in all, you could say that I'm "quirky." But in a good way, of course. (I hope.)
