Onamambili Village History

The village is located in the northern part of Namibia in Oshana Region near Ondangwa Airport. The village was named after the the greatest hero Kunambili Shapumba who died in 1945, she was admired for maintaining and keeping the village peaceful. Onamambili Village have different tribes with the ndongas being the majority followed by kwanyamas. The village is one of the most colonialised area since the Base of SWATF was situated near by Onamambili Village. Onamambili Village have about 8000 of population where by 60 percentage is unemployed due to lack of educaction.
