Why "Bellagio" for my WikiName? It's the Italian village and not the Las Vegas hotel (the latter, to its credit, has some wonderful Dale Chihuly glass art). I love the beauty, the vibes, and the people of the village. So, why not?

FWIW, I'm starting to think of Wikipedia as the anti-Google. Where Google supplies an unorganized list, Wikipedia tries to organize informationchaos into comprehensible bytes. Despite the problems that all WP editors know, IMHO, it does a pretty good job of synthesizing, presenting and self-correcting. YMMV.
". . . each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope."
— Robert F Kennedy, from his famous speech in South Africa in 1966.

This user believes that the placement of bumper sticker-style slogans in a small box on one's user page is an ineffective and deceptively simplistic way of communicating the nuances of one's views on a variety of issues that cannot be reduced to a pithy slogan.
