Hello. My name is Barbara. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and am the solo librarian for a Nursing college. I help students overcome obstacles, navigate their online classes, and tutor basic academic skills.
I have been happily married for 40 years and have 4 wonderful adult kids age 30-35. I could retire from my work, but enjoy the structure and the company of students too much to consider staying at home every day.
I am currently learning more about health disparities and structural racism, with the intention of working to correct injustices. I love to sing folk and blues music. The synchrony of singing harmonies with others warms my heart. I am involved with encouraging native plants and fighting invasives like honeysuckle and english ivy.
