JetBrains is a software development company with offices in Prague, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Boston and Munich[2].
JetBrains was founded in 2000 as a private company, by Sergey Dmitriev, Eugene Belyaev and Valentin Kipiatkov[2].
Products
editJetBrains makes award-winning[3][4] software for software developers[5] and their software is largely designed to improve developer productivity. They have released a number of software products[6][7] including:

In July 2011, the company announced it was developing a new programming language for the JVM, named Kotlin (first preview was released in January 2012).[9]
