Hi, I'm Wade Baldwin and a student at Bucknell University. I'm currently enrolled in History of Ecology where we are working with wikipedia. I'm interested in learning about Ecology and how it has developed over time leaving us where we are now. I also want to get a more scientific understanding of the world around me because I'm an English major and want to understand things in more ways than one.

History of Saint Helena - I think that this island gets overlooked because of the popularity of the Galapagos islands from Darwin. It was studied before the Galapagos islands and produced very similar findings. the wikipedia page of it briefly focuses on that aspect but it is a very minimal aspect of the page. I think that people that visit that page should have an understanding of its scientific importance. The initial definition fails to even mention its scientific significance.
