The Japan national universiade football team(Japanese: ユニバーシアードサッカー日本代表)is a national association football team of Japan and is controlled by the Japan Football Association (JFA).[1] Formed by players enrolled at Japanese universities, the team played at the Summer Universiade, but due to the creation of the FISU University Football World Cup in 2019, football is no longer part of the event's program since that year.[2][3]
