Nils Leitz (b.1446, d. ca.1553) was a duke in Germany during the Renaissance. His mother was the critically acclaimed Maria of Sjöström, daughter of Petri, Duke of Sjöström. Because his mother was Swedish and his father was German, many of his subjects secretly called him "Akzent" or accent.

He was born with a caul enveloping his head.

He died a martyr.
