K & M Acoustics, established in 1994 by Keith Stockley and Michael Winstanley, is one of the leading car audio suppliers and installers in the UK. Based in the centre of Wigan, they have a customer base that spreads throughout the UK. They are part of the FOUR MASTERS the independent car hi-fi specialist network.[1][2]

K & M Van

The K & M Acoustics van was origanally built in 1996 and took nine weeks, it went through a rebuild in 1997 which also took nine weeks. The van still stands today how it was built in 1997, with only minor changes. The van was orginally features in Fast Car in 1998, then refeatured 10 years later in 2008.

The van has been measured on the Richter scale, it is the only car audio installation to be measured on such a scale todate. Vibrock ".[4]measured the van at 3.2 on the Richter Scale. The van is now only used for large events, but went through a spell of not being used at all.".[5] In its hayday the Van attended shows up and down the United Kingdom and has won countless awards in Sound Quality and Sound pressure level(SPL). Most notably The Van was feature in "Gimmme Richter" at Santa Pod Raceway, in 2008 and created a new Guinness World Record, along with 24 other bass vehicles.[6][7]
