Hello, I am a (new-ish) editor. I was recruited through a WikiEducation Foundation academic fellows program. I am a professor teaching and researching at a public U.S. University in political science and specializing in American government, The Presidency, and Federal campaigns (and all the institutional components involved in those areas). Other interests include the role of women and other historically marginalized groups in American electoral politics. I am here because I believe in the value of knowledge, making it public and useful. So, hopefully, by improving one article, paragrpaph, line, and word, Wikipedia is a place where people can find valuable, quality, and accurate information. Cheers!
