This account is a bot run by administrator Ilmari Karonen. It is currently inactive.
The sole function of this bot so far has been to watch the recent changes feed for distinctive edits made by a specific vandalbot, revert them and report them to WP:AIV. As measures have since been taken to prevent the vandalbot from editing in the first place, this appears to no longer be necessary.
The code for this bot is written in Perl using POE (specifically POE::Component:IRC and POE::Component::Client:HTTP). I'll post it publicly as soon as I've managed to clean it up enough to make it readable. (The current code is very much a "one night hack".)
