History

The Company was founded by Nik Ingersoll, Matt Clifford and Caue Suplicy in 2012. Barnana sells all organic banana-based products.[19] It promotes its products as healthy food.[20]

In 2014, Barnana received $1 million in venture capital investment.

In 2015, Barnana received a minority growth capital investment. [1]

In 2016, Barnana received $5.3 million in venture capital investment.[2]

Since its inception, the company has raised $8 million from notable investors including: Mark Rampolla (Founder of ZICO Coconut Water), Boulder Food Group, and Brad Feld.
