Hi, I started this user page as a sock to voice my opinion in the RFA of Ed Poor. I could not use my normal account as its name is the same as that of my account at Conservapedia. Had I voted to oppose using my official account, I would surely have been banned from Conservapedia (such as User:Wisdom89 was).
This is in accordance with the policy at Sock_puppet#Segregation_and_security as stated here
"A person editing an article which is highly controversial within his/her family, social or professional circle, and whose Wikipedia identity is known within that circle, or traceable to their real-world identity, may wish to use an alternative account in order to avoid real-world consequences from their involvement in that area."
