I am from Michigan in the US, but am currently living in Ecuador where I am teaching scientific illustration with a focus on insects and art at various levels. I studied art in undergrad and am about to finish a master's in museum studies. My interests encompass a lot of areas of art and science, and for my first article I'm focusing on restoration and conservation of insects in museum collections to add to this free online resource as a part of one of my courses.
