My Musical Background and Outlook

Music, to me, is a universal language with which we creatively invoke emotion, sonically. When I think about music as a universal language, I see it as a bridge between the gaps that language itself creates. Along with other art forms, music is intended to make you feel something. Whether that something is a direct emotion (elation, anger, sadness etc.) or a pulse/groove that makes you want to move, all cultures across the globe can be affected emotionally by music. That to me is one of the most inspiring aspects when it comes to my music and my ability to perform, write, and create music. Many people contribute to the world in millions of different ways, but I truly feel blessed and gifted with the ability to present this art to others. When words fall short, we have music to take us the next step further.

2. Jeremy McKinnon's involvement in other projects with younger bands while still fronting one of the biggest bands to come out of the US punk/metal scene.

3. How British and other European bands sparked the punk movement and how modern US bands now influence the former.
