Andreas Böhm is computer scientist holding a PhD in Bioinformatics. He is in professional IT since age of 15.
Little background about him is known, because he cares about his privacy. He speaks German as a native speaker and speaks fluently English and French with German accent. He is regsitered at Wikipedia because of the concept of free content, an idea that already fascinated him about free and open source software.

He created few pages, but his primary concern is improving the content of the free encyclopedia by working on the pages.[2]
