The 27 Club edit

A common pattern amongst musicians is that many have died at the age of 27. Some predicted their deaths, others did not. The musicians died from a variety of overdoses and attacks.

27 Club Members edit

Jim Morrison[3] and Janis Joplin[4] died of overdoses in their hotel bathrooms. Jimi Hendrix[5] died of a prescription drug overdose. Kurt Cobain[6] shot himself in the head in his greenhouse. Kurt left behind a long suicide note.

The Devil's Interval edit

Musical Tritone

A Tritone[7] in music is called an augmented fifth or a diminished fourth. The tritone is a musical interval that spans three whole tones, like the diminished fifth or augmented fourth. Because of its chromatic and eerie sound, this non consonant interval is known as the Devil's Interval or Diabolus in Musica. In early century music it was used when talking about the crucifixion and the devil and demonic forces.
