In pop culture and other trivia sections are exceedingly prevalent on articles relating to Japan. There are clear guidelines against useless collections of facts that don't add to the reader's understanding of an article:
Additionally, there is significant consensus in the community, particularly in WikiProject Japan, that such sections should be removed or significantly reduced to only useful, relevant information. Significant discussions include:
