I'm a chemist interested in everything ranging from analytical chemistry to materials science to pharmaceuticals.

My current project is working on a Wikipedia article about CD/DVD based immunoassays. The technique is relatively new. It's especially promising since it's cheaper than many established techniques and is also small enough for use in the field. The article I'm writing is brand new. The CD/DVD based assay is a type of immunoassay, but I believe there is enough unique information to create its own article. Someone also commented on the immunoassay talk page about wanting to know more info about these CD/DVD assays so I'm trying to fill a gap in the field.
