Onesi is a small town in Omusati region located in Namibia - roughly 378 mi (or 608 km) North-West of Windhoek, the capital of Namibian.Onesi local directory of towns and cities including maps [1]. Onesi town is well known for its Baobab trees and its largest dams. The name onesi came from Oshiwambo word called "onesilohenda", meaning with peace and stability[2]

Specialties of Onesi town

Onesi have this well known river called Etaka, this river is well known by its fishes surfing underneath the river. Etaka is the only river that supplies a portion 5% fish to the Namibian market. Onesi was the first town in the Omusati region to have dam that recycles sewage water. Onesi town has divine hotels for accommodation, the most amazing thing is that their hotels are the only ones in the whole Omusati region that you can book online.[3].

Although the Onesi town is populated[4], it is the lowest crime rate town in the northern part of namiba and also has the lowest disease rate. Onesi town has a Chief, Daniel Shooya, he is the town authority of Uukolonkadhi constituency, if you you dont comply with his rules, you will get evicted from the Uukolonkadhi of Onesi[5].

My view about Onesi town

I find Onesi a best and awesome place to spend holiday with family and friends, because it has everything a human kind would want. Onesi has best place to go camping, its quite and lastly it's simply the best place to ease your mind.
