User:Alyo/sandbox/Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework

The Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework is a legal framework regulating transatlantic exchanges of personal data for commercial purposes between the European Union and the United States. The agreement, announced in principle on March 25, 2022, replaced the EU–US Privacy Shield following its invalidation in Schrems II. On October 7, 2022, President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order detailing the framework.[1][2]

Max Schrems and NOYB criticized the new framework, arguing that the new framework would still permit bulk surveillance without appropriate redress.[3]
