Alfred Weiss (born March 22nd, 1969) is an active member of the Green Party in Central Illinois. A respected educator and technologist, Al is also known for his work on educational computing at the University of Illinois.
Education
editWeiss received his BA from Hamilton College in 1991 and an MA in Japanese History from the University of Illinois in 2001.
Green Politics
editAlfred Weiss now lives in Urbana, Illinois where he is an active member of the local Green Party. Weiss ran for Mayor of Urbana as a write-in Green party candidate in 2001 and garnered almost five percent of the vote. He also ran on the Green ticket for Parkland Community College Board of Trustees in 2004.
