Allison Stewart BVSc(hons), MS, DACVIM, DACVECC.
Allison graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007, then spent two years in mixed private practice in Gawler, Sth Australia. She has spent the last 15 years in the USA, initially as an Equine Internal Medicine Resident at Ohio State University, where she completed a MS and became a Diplomate American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
Allison has been an internist at Auburn University for last 12 years, where she also completed a fellowship and became a Diplomate American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) in 2007. Her clinical interests include: endocrinology, fungal disease, neurology, neonatology and ultrasound. Research interests include: endocrinology, pharmacology and infectious disease. Allison is glad to be back in Australasia, but enjoys international travel. She has spoken at meetings throughout the world from Morocco to Hungry to Brazil. currently Allison is undertaking a PhD at SLU in Uppsala, Sweden. She also provides locum veterinary work via Equine Medical consulting in Australia.
