Lyle Shelton
editLyle Gavin Shelton, (born 1969) in Wondai, Queensland, Australian lobbyist, politician, journalist and churchman[1]. Lyle is married to Wendy, with four children, and is the son of one time Logos Foundation member and Toowoomba City Church founder Ian Shelton.

Toowoomba City Councilor from 2001-2004 and 2004-2006 when he retired to contest the State election.
Unsuccessful National Party candidate in the 2006 Queensland State election for the seat of Toowoomba North. He was a high profile candidate due to his long running campaign against Adult Entertainments in Toowoomba, and his active role in the Recycled Water refendum "No" campaign.
Cr Shelton had a high profile as a campaigner against adult entertainment in Toowoomba[3].
