  • в навороченых коммутаторах группы портов обслужваются своим ASIC. скажем 8 портов - 2 группы по 4 порта - у каждой группы свой ASIC. В этом случае если передается в порт, принадлежащий разным группам - порты не блокируются. для еще большей надежности каждый из четырех портов можно перевести в dedicated mode, когда остальные порты отключатся вообще, а комутатор передает от порта к порту данные на полной своей скорости
