Article evaluation

Article: Public opinion about U.S. drone attacks

- Everything within the article is on topic, but it is lacking. This could be due to the modernity of drones

- All cited links work

- The article has been rated as a stub, but is part of a WikiProject about military history

- Little to no bias

- No discussion within the talk page

Article choices

edit

Article/Topic 1: List of authoritarian regimes supported by the United States

I would have to:

-Update information about which regimes the United States currently supports or disavows

-Add more recent information to the introductory paragraphs

-Potentially provide a definition to "authoritative regime"

Article/Topic 2: Foreign policy of the Barack Obama administration

-Update information to continue until the end of his presidency

-Expand the Oceania and Africa sections of the article

Article/Topic 3: United States public opinion on humanitarian crises

-Would be a new article

What I would like to accomplish with my additions

edit

The article itself already does a wonderful job at detailing the foreign policy of the Bill Clinton administration, and if it is not meticulous in some regards, it is typically because there is a separate page on the situation. My topic does not have enough content to warrant a new page, but the close relation between my sources and the foreign policy of Bill Clinton page allows for the two to mesh. I intend to create a subheading dedicated to the public reaction to certain international crises that happened under Clinton’s presidency. By adding this, I hope that future viewers will either appreciate the information as something they find interesting, or as a gauge of public attitudes of the time.
