The Blue Ribbon award is considered to be the highest honor that an American school can achieve.

During the 1989-90 school year, Midland School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[1], the highest award an American school can receive.[2][3]

For 2003-2006 only

During the 2006-07 school year, Midland School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[4], the highest award an American school can receive.[5][6]
