ORIENTAL QUARRIES AND MINES Pvt Ltd. , also known as OQMPL headquatered in New Delhi, is an Indian company which is active in the exploitation and production of aggregates for het contruction of roads, road surfacing, airfields, racing circuits and buildings, and for the production of ready-made concrete. The products are marketed under the brand name "Oriental Aggregates".
Incorporated in August 2008, OQM is a joint venture of Ackermans & Van Haaren(AvH) of Belgium and Oriental Structure Engineers Pvt. Ltd.(OSE).The company has business interests in engineering, construction, manufacturing goods, information technology and financial services.
Aggregates from OQM have been used for infrastracture works that are part of the Golden Quadrilateral Project and the Yamnuna Expressway project, between Noida and Agra. The new Formula 1 Race Track(Budh International Circuit) in Greater Noida was built using high quality aggregates from OQM. Oriental Aggregates mines minerals like lime stone,sand stone,granite,basalt etc.
