Testing on the rats proved effective. Two groups of injured rats were tested, with one group given the dye as a treatment for the spinal injuries and the other group was not. The results of the test proved that in comparison to the rats that had not received the dye, the rats that were treated with the dye were able to move around better and able to out perform the rats without the dye treatment on motion tests.[1]
