Alex Beall is a graduate student in the Journalism and Public Affairs program at American University.
She is currently taking a class toward her Master's Degree titled "Wikipedia and Public Knowledge", which has introduced her to the world of free content and edit-a-thons. In the course, she will edit and contribute content for Wikipedia and study how the site bridges journalism and history.
Alex has worked in variety of newsrooms with responsibilities from reporting to copy-editing.
