Omupanda is a well known village situated just 7km east of Ongwediva in Oshana Region people who live in Omupanda shorten the name to Omupax.

Development

Omupanda is a village with approximately 870-900 people who lived and own houses.Currently there is 1 pre-primary school Named after a hero Hangwala,and 1 combined school called Omupanda in Onamutai circuit in Ongwediva Constituency.There is electricity and a gravel road passed through from ongwediva town to Ongwediva Costituency office at onamutai.People living in omupanda use donkeys and tractors to plough their field.

There is small business man who sell basic needs to the old age people who cant walk long distance like to Ongwediva for shopping. Omupanda is a village which is 7km from ongwediva but still there is no clinic where people can go for first aid before referred to Ongwediva Clinic or Oshakati state hospital. they lather use Onamutai Clinic at a nearby village.

Early this year the school Omupanda was renamed after a first founder who was the principal of the school by that time Tatekulu Mathews Mundjanima. It was a very big event that attracted more than 1000 people who come to witness the renaming.
