Peter Macnab (19 November 1839 - 26 June 1900) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was Duncan Macnab (born 17 February 1800), a commercial clerk from Glendaruel in Argyll.

His mother was Agnes McLennan (born 24 December 1798) from Strathblane in Stirlingshire. Duncan and Agnes married on 2 June 1829 in Glasgow.

Peter Macnab was born on 19 November 1839 in Glasgow.[4][5]

He married Jane Simpson Dougall (23 July 1851 - 15 September 1937) from Glasgow. They married on 21 January 1875 in Kensington, London, England.

Death

He died on 26 June 1900 at Cartbridge, at Send in Surrey, England.
