James Crichton Macintyre (24 May 1860 - 2 January 1919) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was Donald Macintyre (27 June 1828 - 10 October 1918), known as Daniel, a master painter from Perth, employing other house painters.

His mother was Janet Crichton (17 June 1829 - 16 September 1896) from Redgorton in Perthshire. Daniel and Janet married on 28 September 1854 in Perth.

James Crichton Macintyre was born on 24 May 1860 in Perth.[8]

He married Elizabeth Gall (3 July 1861 - 16 October 1914) from Perth. They married in 1902 in Perth.
