The Lauder Prize is awarded annually with few exceptions to at most three recipients by previously the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists, and now the Glasgow Society of Women Artists; and is one of the most prestigious art awards in Scotland. It is named after the artist Gertrude Annie Lauder.[1]

Up to three awards can be won in each year, in various areas like oil paintings, watercolours, black and white drawings, pottery, sculpture, jewellery, lettering, needlework, silversmithing, enamels, woven fabrics and crafts.
