a. What is the level of importance assigned to the topic? What is the class-level of the article, and what reason(s) did you find for that “grade?”
The article has not been assigned an importance level. However, I believe the topic to have high importance because compounds are very productive in the English language (and others), and are used frequently. The English compound article was rated as B-class on the quality scale. I found that it was rated this way because even though it only has 8 sources they are reliable sources. The article is mostly about the English language so i believe it should only focus on English language compounds and have a second article for other languages as to not confuse the reader. The article had a nice clear structure and it included a section on compounds including two geographical modifiers such as Afro-Cuban and Central American which is not included in the textbook.
b. Is there a focus for the comments, or are there several? What are the issues that the comments address?
