Manikandan Ayyappa is a playback singer and composer in the Malayalam cinema industry from Kerala. He became notable with the song Ivalaro[1] from the film Oru Mexican Aparatha. Early life

Manikandan was born in Kollannur, and grew up in kaiparambu, in Thrissur district. He finished his college at St.Thomas, Thrissur, Kerala and Trichi Kalai kaviri university Trichi. and his raced his carrier with Chetana music academy Thrissur, Kecheri Nadhabrahamam academy, Thankamani teacher (first guru), Peramangalam Vasudevan namboothiri,Poonkunnam Gopala bagavathar,Perumbavoor Vasudevan,Deshamangalam Narayanan namboothirippad Gurus and Student of Mohan sitara's swarabharath school of music

Since 7 years worked with Mohan sithara Sung songs in Yugapurushan and Pottas bomb and in 2017 his first movie as music composer Oru Mexican aparatha
