This example shows how different short form references work. Generally the Short Form Reference will link to it's cite using |last= and |date= (or year), although anything can be used if |ref= is correctly setup in the cite. If multiple authors appear in the cite, then they must also appear in the SFR. The only purpose of a SFR is to link to a cite, if you do not want to do this choose a different form of referencing.


Timbleton edit

Smyth-Thorpe (1878) claims that Timbleton is the county seat of timbletonshire.[1] This is generally regard to be complete poppycock,[2] and has even become somewhat of a meme.[3]
