Hello Wikipedia Editing Community
I greatly appreciate your help and advice as I learn to be a Wikipedia editor. I thought it might be helpful to tell you a little about my background and interests.
In 2017 I retired from a 50-year career in industry, academia, and the military. I enrolled in a master's of liberal arts program (MALS) and began to research and write articles and blog entries on historical topics of interest to me. My master's project involved finding a home for an extensive collection of 6,000+ films from one of the longest-standing corporate film & video production studios in the U.S.
I have a Ph.D. in Business, an M.A. in Advertising, an M.A. in Liberal Arts, and a B.A. in Communications.
I spent the last third of my career as Senior Director of Corporate Marketing for a large women's health company, where I helped bring digital radiography, digital mammography, and breast tomosynthesis to the global marketplace. From 1984 to 1996, I was a Senior Marketing Research Programs manager at DuPont, where I was an inside consultant working on a number of product lines, including DuPont-certified Stainmaster carpet, a multibillion-dollar business for DuPont. From 1973 to 1984, I was on the business school faculty at a university on the east coast of the U.S. When I left the university, I was a tenured associate professor and associate dean of the College of Business and Economics.
From 1966 to 1968, I was in the U.S. Army Adjutant General Corp stationed in Europe.
