Brian was trained as an exploration geophysicist, and has been employed in satellite / remote sensing work in support of architecture, engineering, and construction industry, environmental engineering site geophysical investigations. He has also been employed in the financial services industry modeling loss estimation for natural and technological hazards. Currently, he is a geographic information systems analyst in the local government sector, with a focus on development of enterprise systems and data sets.

Brian lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. His efforts to apply 3D multiuser simulation environments to geographic information systems work has been recorded at Simulator GIS blog.3dmap.me
